How do I sign up for Vox Link Africa Fibre FTTH?

To sign up for Vox Link Africa Fibre FTTH:

  1. Fill in your details on the quick application form from www.uncappedfibre.co.za/vox/linkafrica
  2. Once we receive your form, we will call to confirm your package details.
  3. A quote will be sent via SMS or email for approval.
  4. Once accepted, we will process your order and schedule your Vox Link Africa Fibre installation.

What supporting documentation is required for Vox Link Africa Fibre?

Vox requires the following documentation for a Vox Link Africa Fibre application:

  • Clear copy of ID (certified copy preferred)

  • Proof of physical address (not older than 3 months)

Vox will verify your ID with the Home Affairs database. If the ID is unclear, a certified copy will be requested.

How do I check if my home is covered for Vox Link Africa Fibre?

What does the Vox Link Africa Fibre installation process look like?

The Vox Link Africa Fibre installation process includes:

  1. Site Assessment: A Vox-approved contractor visits your premises to determine if extra internal or external cabling is required.

  2. ONT Installation: The fibre is pulled into your home, and the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) is installed if needed.

  3. Network Testing & Handover: The connection is tested remotely and handed over to Vox.

  4. Router Installation: A Vox technician installs your router, and your Vox Link Africa Fibre connection is live.

Installation usually takes 7–21 working days depending on network infrastructure.

How does billing work for Vox Link Africa Fibre?

Vox Link Africa Fibre subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Setup fees and top-ups are billed in arrears.

Example: If your invoice date is 1 March, your full package subscription for 01–31 March is billed. The first invoice may include a pro-rated amount from activation to the next billing cycle.

How long does a Vox Link Africa Fibre application take?

Applications typically take 7–21 working days. Submit your paperwork with correct documentation to avoid delays.

Tips for faster installation:

  1. Ensure any existing Vox accounts are fully paid.

  2. Fill in your application accurately and legibly with the correct documents.

  3. If your area has planned Fibre rollout, submit paperwork early to be first in line when the network goes live.

What are the Vox Link Africa Fibre contract terms and cancellation policy?

Vox Link Africa Fibre is on a month-to-month contract with a minimum 12-month commitment. Cancelling within the first 12 months incurs a once-off penalty. After 12 months, cancellation requires 30 days’ notice with no penalty.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my Vox Link Africa Fibre package?

Yes. You may upgrade or downgrade your Vox Link Africa Fibre package anytime. Upgrades may include a small fee, and downgrades within the contract term may incur a penalty. Cancellations are subject to your agreed contract terms with Vox.

Do you supply Wi-Fi Boosting Access Points for Vox Link Africa Fibre?

Yes. For larger homes or premises, we recommend cabled Access Points (APs). Vox uses Ubiquiti APs connected via Ethernet to extend Wi-Fi coverage. The AP is mounted on the ceiling. Visit our online store to place your order shop.dsltelecom.co.za or email us on sales@dsltelecom.co.za for more info.

Can I move my Vox Link Africa Fibre line if I relocate?

You can only transfer the service if your new address is covered by Vox Link Africa Fibre. Submit your Customer Order Form (COF) and documents to DSL Telecom to process the relocation.
