Vox Evotel Fibre is on a month-to-month contract with a minimum 12-month commitment. Cancelling within the first 12 months incurs a once-off penalty. After 12 months, cancellation requires 30 days’ notice with no penalty.

  2. Once we receive your form, we will call to confirm your package details.
  3. A quote will be sent via SMS or email for approval.
  4. Once accepted, we will process your order and schedule your Vox Evotel Fibre installation.

What does the Vox Evotel Fibre installation process look like?

The Vox Evotel Fibre installation process includes:

  1. Site Assessment: A Vox-approved contractor visits your premises to determine if extra internal or external cabling is required.

  2. ONT Installation: The fibre is pulled into your home, and the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) is installed if needed.

  3. Network Testing & Handover: The connection is tested remotely and handed over to Vox.

  4. Router Installation: A Vox technician installs your router, and your Vox Evotel Fibre connection is live.

Installation usually takes 7–21 working days depending on network infrastructure.

Can I make calls over my Vox Evotel Fibre line?

When does number porting happen with Vox Evotel Fibre?

Porting your old Telkom number usually occurs after Vox Evotel Fibre installation. Vox provides a default 087 number.To port a number, submit:

  1. A copy of your latest Telkom bill

  2. Completed porting form

Porting takes 10–15 working days after documents are received.
