Upgrading And Downgrading Your Telkom LTE Deal

How To Upgrade Or Downgrade Your Telkom LTE Package?

You can upgrade or downgrade your Telkom LTE package by visiting www.ltedeals.co.za/renew and selecting the deal you wish to upgrade or downgrade to. A DSL Telecom agent will check your current contract term and see if you are eligible to change your package and determine if any fees are applicable. 

Can I Upgrade Or Downgrade My Telkom LTE Internet Deal?

The ability to change your Telkom LTE package depends on how many months you are into your contract or commitment period:

1) If you are 1 - 3 months into your Telkom LTE contract period, you cannot change your package. In this instance, if you want a new deal you will need to take out a new contract.

2) If you are 4 - 21 months into your contract period, you are allowed to change your package. Telkom refers to this as a package migration and we charge an administration fee and a penalty fee to perform the migration which is calculated at the time of the package migration request.

3) If you are in the 22nd month or more of your contract period, you are allowed to change your package. Telkom refers to this as a package renewal and no administration or penalty fees will be charged.

Your new package will be active within 24 hours of successful processing.

Does A Telkom LTE Upgrade, Downgrade, Renewal Or Fibre Migration Extend My Contract Term?

No, your contract will start over again when you upgrade, downgrade, renew or migrate your Telkom LTE deal.

Renewing Your Telkom LTE Deal

When Can I Renew My Telkom LTE Deal?

You have the option of either renewing your current Telkom LTE deal as a Sim-Only renewal or you can renew to a Sim + Router deal. This can be done on the 22nd+ month of your Telkom LTE contract.

How Do I Renew My Telkom LTE Contract?

1. Navigate to www.ltedeals.co.za/renew and select the Telkom LTE package that you would like to renew to.
2. Once we have received your renewal request, a DSL Telecom sales team member will be in touch to complete your renewal order telephonically.

Will My Telkom LTE Data Roll Over To My New LTE Package?

No, your data will not roll over as you will be taking out a new contract.

Can I Convert, uograde Or Change My LTE Internet Connection To A Fibre Internet Connection?

Yes, you can migrate from your Telkom LTE internet connection to a Telkom Fibre internet connection. You are eligible to migrate to Telkom Fibre if you have had your Telkom LTE package for 6 months and your address is covered for Telkom Fibre.
