[What to do] Relocating premises when you have a Vox Fibre internet service

So you've found your dream home or have decided to move into a new apartment, but what happens to your existing Vox Fibre internet connection and contract?

Here's some important advice that you need to know.

Unfortunately, your existing fibre internet connection cannot be moved to your new premises. This is because your fibre contract is a fixed line contract which is linked to the physical address that your fibre is installed at and is therefore non-transferable from the original fixed address that you signed up at.

This is nothing to worry about, we have given advice and support to hundreds of customers in this very situation.

Here are the 2 options you have when relocating premises when you have a fibre connection:

OPTION #1:  Transfer your internet to the new owner / tenant

When moving out of your house or apartment, you can transfer your current fibre internet to the new owner/ tenant. You can do this at no additional cost. The new owner / tenant moving into your current home will take over the payment of the remaining months of your contract.

OPTION #2: A site move cancellation

a) Cancelling your contract within the 12 month commitment period.
You will be billed the installation cost of your fibre line by your FNO. (Fibre Network Owner)

b) Cancelling your contract at the end of the 12 month commitment period.

Provide DSL Telecom with 60 days notice before relocating premises, by emailing support@dsltelecom.co.za. We will assist you with your cancellation request. You will not be billed the installation fee if you request your cancellation to occur at the end of your 12 month commitment term.

Vox uncapped Fibre To The Home

Here's what we can do for you

Provide DSL Telecom with 60 days notice before relocating premises by emailing support@dsltelecom.co.za. We'll assist you in applying for a new fibre internet connection at your new premises and we'll process your new fibre internet application directly with Vox.

Vox will then cancel your existing fibre line on the date you're moving out and create a new contract for your new address. The new contract will be put on standby until you move into your new premises so that when you relocate you will have a new fibre line ready for you at your new premises. The new Vox Fibre contract will start again at 12 months but will include free activation, installation and a fibre router.
